Software for sport and live events

We build software for leagues, event organisers and sports data companies, used before, during and after the event. Much of it runs live.

What we build, from the plan to the odds

Our sport work follows an event from the people who plan it to the businesses that price it.

  1. Before the event

Plan the card and the schedule

UFC's matchmakers plan fight cards in War Room, on web and mobile, with write locking so two people editing one event never overwrite each other. For the Grand Slam of Curling, events, divisions, teams and schedules are set up in the platform we built.

  2. During play

    Score it as it happens

Officials score UFC BJJ bouts on a game controller. Curling scorers use a Stream Deck, a programmable keypad, so they keep their eyes on the ice, and some timings are measured to a tenth of a second.

  3. In the arena and on air

    One score on every screen

In curling, the arena screens, the TV graphics and the data partners show the same score and the same timer at the same moment. In UFC BJJ, the commentator screen reads from the same database the scorers write to.

  4. Beyond the venue

Data feeds, odds and fantasy contests

For Alt Sports Data we built an odds engine: event-driven Monte Carlo simulations that price six sports for betting platforms. For a North American fantasy sports operator, head-to-head contests on live data, with entry limited by location.

The Curling Group's live data feeds Alt Sports Data, whose odds engine we also built.

  2. Arena, TV, partners
  3. Alt Sports Data odds
